A New Tradition...
Adirondack Polo Club continues as the area's premier venue for an unrivaled sport. A place where thoroughbred competition, natural beauty and local history come together. Where a fashionable crowd of equestrian enthusiasts and casual onlookers find common ground.
Where the frenzied competition of the sport is rivaled only by the vitality of the vista that accompanies it.
The Adirondack Polo Club was formed to fulfill the dreams of four men. They envisioned a pristine green field, strong, muscular horses and the thrill of competition by the majestic Adirondack Mountains.
The 2,500 year old game of polo is one of the fastest, roughest, and most dangerous sports played today. It is gaining increasing popularity as a premier spectator sport and can be an easy game for the first time spectator to enjoy. Imagine the excitement of seeing players on thoroughbred horses bumping and jostling with each other like hockey on horseback, racing at top speeds down the field while striking a small white ball with the precision of an experienced golfer.
